Teriberka, whale watching

Choose clothes that are windproof and waterproof depending on the season.
We recommend: a waterproof and windproof jacket (preferably with a hood and covering the waist), unrestrictive pants (waterproof ones are possible), trekking boots. Do not forget about a hat, thermal underwear and gloves.

The weather in Teriberka is changeable and unpredictable.

Winter lasts almost until May, dress warmly ;)

The hottest month of summer is July, the temperature rises on average to 10-15 degrees above zero, but do not forget about the wind.

Daytime temperatures in early to mid fall are 7-8 degrees.

Polar Night lasts from early December to mid-January, and temperatures average -8° to -20°.
Don't forget that the sea is rarely windless.

There is a high probability of seeing seals, belugas, killer whales and dolphins.
Whale sightings are possible at any time of the year, but we cannot make any guarantees, as whales are not trained animals.

From late August to mid-April is the northern lights season. During this period, tourists observe the northern lights with the naked eye, weather permitting.
Don't forget that in reality the northern lights are beautiful, but not as intense as in the photos.
